atmos toolchain remove
Remove tool entries from your toolchain configuration when they're no longer needed by your components, commands, or workflows. This keeps your toolchain lean and focused on active dependencies.
Usage
Execute the toolchain remove command like this:
atmos toolchain remove <tool>@<version>
Examples
atmos toolchain remove terraform
atmos toolchain remove hashicorp/terraform
atmos toolchain remove terraform@1.11.4
atmos toolchain remove hashicorp/terraform@1.11.4
atmos toolchain --tool-versions=/path/to/.tool-versions remove kubectl@1.28.0
To target a .tool-versions file other than the default, use the toolchain parent command's
persistent --tool-versions flag (or the ATMOS_TOOL_VERSIONS environment variable) before the
remove subcommand, as shown above.
Arguments
tool(required)Tool to remove from the toolchain configuration. Can be a short name (alias) or full
owner/repoformat. Optionally include@versionto remove only a specific version.Examples:

toolchain remove has no flags of its own. To use a .tool-versions file other than the default,
pass the toolchain parent command's persistent --tool-versions flag, for example:
atmos toolchain --tool-versions=/path/to/.tool-versions remove kubectl@1.28.0
